First Tx Sats
All First Tx Sats are also Block 9 Sats, this is because it was the Bitcoin from this block that were used in the first ever Bitcoin transaction. After Nakamoto had successfully developed, released and mined Bitcoin, the next step was to test Bitcoins peer-to-peer exchange. This was done on the 12th of January 2009 when Nakamoto sent a computer scientist by the name of Hal Finney 10 Bitcoin. Hal Finney then used a popular online forum to announce that he had received the Bitcoin by posting “Running bitcoin”. This triumphant transaction marked the success of Bitcoin’s peer to peer payment method in which a third party such as a bank is not required. The Sats from the 10 Bitcoin used in this transaction are called First Tx Sats.
