Block 78 Sats

Block 78 is the first block to be mined by anyone other than Nakamoto. The person to mine block 78 was none other than Hal Finney who was also involved in the first ever transaction of Bitcoin in which Nakamoto sent Finney 10 Bitcoin in order to test the system. Hal Finney was a software developer who contributed to the development of Bitcoin. His dedication continued even after his ALS diagnosis in 2009 by coding using eye tracking software. This iconic block not only marks the mining of Bitcoin by people other than its creator, but also commemorates a committed and influential individual in Bitcoin, Hal Finney.
